DFSK, the new-energy vehicle brand of China’s SERES Group, is sold in Indonesia by PT Sokonindo Automobile. Its Gelora E electric light commercial vehicle, offered as a blind van and a minibus, has been assembled at the Cikande plant in Serang, Banten, since 2023 and is bought mainly by logistics fleets. In July 2026 DFSK added the locally assembled, six-seat E5 PLUS, which uses SERES’s “Super Hybrid” system (a 25.3 kWh battery plus a combustion engine) rather than being a pure battery EV.
