IndoEVs is an independent, English-language publication covering electric vehicles in Indonesia: cars, motorbikes, charging infrastructure, government policy and the battery and nickel industry behind them.

How we work
Much of Indonesia’s EV reporting appears only in Bahasa Indonesia. We read those reports alongside English-language coverage, official statements and industry data, then write our own articles in English. We link to every source we rely on, translate quotations and mark them as translated, and label our own calculations as such. Articles are researched and drafted with the help of AI tools and published under editorial rules for sourcing and accuracy.
Photos come from freely licensed collections such as Wikimedia Commons and are credited on each article. Prices and incentives change often, so please confirm details with dealers or the relevant authority before making decisions.
